The Atomic Energy Corporation has announced the control of the fire that broke out in one of the old hangars at the former Nuclear Plant HQ in Tajoura, east of the capital, Tripoli.
The corporation said in a brief statement that the fire broke out in a hangar and was far from any of the vital buildings in the Nuclear Plant.
Eyewitnesses complained on social media about the delay in the arrival of fire trucks belonging to the National Safety Authority to the fire site.
