Prosecutor: ICC to announce arrest warrants of individuals involved in crimes in Libya
The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Karim Khan, announced on Tuesday the launching of a roadmap for the work of the ICC's team in Libya, adding during his briefing at the UN Security Council on the situation in Libya, that the roadmap has two stages: The first is the investigation, and they intend to finish it by 2025, saying it won't be easy and will require cooperation with the authorities in Libya.
He said the second stage is the judicial one: the completion stage, saying they will work to issue arrest warrants for those involved in crimes in Libya, and prosecute at least one by the end of next year.
IMF expects growth in Libyan economy
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) said that Libya's gross domestic product recorded growth of 10% last year, largely due to the recovery after the cessation of oil production in 2022. IMF expected that the gross domestic product would grow to 8% in 2024, in the final statement of the IMF experts after discussions that lasted 10 days, on Article 4 for the year 2024, with the Central Bank, the Audit Bureau, the National Oil Corporation, and a number of concerned financial authorities.

EU ambassador calls for protecting Libyan cultural heritage from looting and smuggling
The European Union (EU) Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando, called for the need to protect Libyan cultural heritage from plunder, trafficking and vandalism, noting that the heritage represents “rich and shared Mediterranean roots."
The EU Ambassador opened Sunday in Tripoli an international conference on protecting the Libyan cultural heritage, in which 20 experts from five European countries, archaeological missions and representatives of law enforcement agencies from Italy participated, in cooperation with the Department of Antiquities and the Tourist Police of the Ministry of the Interior.
